Stef has always had a passion for music growing up. Listening to local artist from Chicago like Twista, Do or Die, Psycho Drama, and others. He started to fall in love with music at the young age of 12. So he began writing lyrics for fun. He knew he could do it because he watched his uncles do it all the time. He was a smart young man in school, but he always got into trouble for writing music during class or drawing. Never thinking he would pursue music seriously, Stef met some local guys in Indianapolis by the name of YHE in April of 2006. Stef was just planning to graduate and go to college for carpentry. Until one day he was in the studio with YHE and his whole perspective changed. He decided that he wanted to be in the music business. At first this was like a hobby for him. He use to rap battle in high school, but he was never really serious about it. His family always told him he should get into music, but he had other plans. So he started writing songs and making beats all day every day. He just wanted to do something to get out of the struggle. As the oldest of 7 he knew he had to do something to help his family out. So he stated recording with YHE. They were making hit after hit. They all decided to do a comp album, but due to misunderstanding they never released the album. That’s when he knew he brought something to the table that other artist didn't. And that’s Realness and passion. So Stef got extremely arrogant and cocky with his music. He wasn’t like the average rapper. He only wrote about things he went through or things that he was going through, but he was a god at using metaphors and punch lines. Everywhere he went people wanted him to rap for them. So he knew he had the streets attention. Another local deep thinking rapper by the name of Young Murph gave him the alias “The Meta4 King”, So Stef stuck with that because it came from somebody he really respected as a person and a artist. Stef is almost where he dreamed he would be. He’s currently worked with 2 Grammy award winning producers and he also met with a couple major labels. Stef is on his grind right now. Working hard trying to push his-self and Grind Tyme Ent. Just be sure to keep your ears open because this is Stef’s time to shine. Achievements: Productions by 2 Grammy awards winning producers “Raphael RJ2 from Beats How U Want Em” ( Misunderstood from Lil Wayne’s Carter III) and “John Conte Jr” ( Blame It On The Alcohol by Jamie Foxx feat. T-pain) Met with Universal and Atlantic Records
