Zach Paxton was born on Valentine's Day, 1992, at Grady Memorial Hospital. Thus, making him the fourth and final member of his extended family to hold their coming out party in that particular location. Shortly there after, his family moved to Springdale, Arkansas, and he has been there ever since. For the last five years, Zach has been playing the guitar religiously. At all hours of every day, if you're having trouble finding him, you've got a better than average chance at locating him in his studio. In 2008, he caught on with his first band, Blank X-Pression. They became a popular entity among the high school aged demographic in the Springdale area, playing numerous shows over their tenure. Due to personal reasons, the band saw several changes in 2009. Changes that ultimately resulted in a new band, with a few original members, and the name Beyond Reason was an improved version of Blank X-Pression; playing larger shows, to larger crowds, with a much improved sound. However, 2010 saw a high school-senior dominated group's priorities shift toward graduation, girlfriends, and college; ultimately resulting in their demise. In the midst of it all, Zach discovered his passion for the acoustic sound; and a desire to pursue a solo acoustic career. Paxton's equipment of choice is an Ibanez ART600, an OSP DC-22CEQ, a Crate GTX212, and a DIGItech RP355. A random tall tale about the musician: He was once nearly cast in an Oscar Meyer Weiner commercial. Which, typically, wouldn't be noteworthy. But, in failing to win the contest, he instead stole the hearts of the local media; making appearances on the local ABC and NBC affiliates, as well as being featured on the front page of the Morning News of Northwest Arkansas.
