Zen Aura emerged on the indie scene as the feminine energy and co-founder of urban soul/poetic fusion group, Infinite Life, which released two cd's: P.O.E.T (Prophetic Orators of Eternal Thought) & Infinite Life: The Sleeper Must Awaken. Zen was highlighted on OurStage for releases from both cd's "Fly Free" & "Blood Money while a member of the Master Griot Project. Zen Aura is a Delaware native whose highligh performances include the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival with the Duke Ellington Sacred Concernts, performance with the Sun Ra Arkestra, Grease & Grits Blues Festival, Bob Marley Peoples Festival to name a few.
Zen has also featured on the albums of Lil Drumma Boy Recording artist UVA, Hip-Hop group Next of Kin and former jazz fusion band, Hip Soul.
As a solo artist, Zen is working on a new project, undoubtably a smooth fusion of urban soul and poetry in the style of Zen.
