Sudilkov - Recut for Steven Spielberg

Sudilkov - Recut for Steven Spielberg, by tomyboy342000 on OurStage
During 1941, a family on the Russian Front experiences the sudden, unexpected invasion of the German army. Based on a true story. This short was requested to be viewed personally by Dean Houser at Dreamworks at the request of Steven Speilberg, for consideration on "On the Lot". So I recut it down to 7 minutes and changed it to B&W. Sent the DVD off the Steven to watch. Hope he and you all enjoy it!

Comments for Sudilkov - Recut for Steven Spielberg

Thanks for this, I was moved. Good to see something serious, real, and thoughtful amongst all these band "documentaries" and poorly constructed music videos, which don't even belong here.

I read your comment on Mando Mojo Man, which I actually enjoyed. I don't fully agree with your comments (see) , but I do like the honest sharing of opinions on this site.

Wow, i guess i was wrong. The quality docs that I liked, most of them made it into the top 10. Congrats to all 10 of you guys! I'm just so glad that the "Trip to Italy" was bonked off... Man, that guy was sp dangerously slick in sliding in and out of the # 1 spot in the past...

I've spent all day watching the other docs, and it is truly sad that some of these docs are even on here. You can clearly see who is "trying" to make it, and who is hear for fun. Unfortunately, those who are just peddling this site, are the ones who are actually beating the quality documentaries. Some are crap, others ok, and some are technically unbelievable, but lack in originality. Oh well. One less award to worry about. Thanks family...

Wow! I never knew the Nazis murdered all those Russian people. No wonder the Russians were so ruthless to the German people. I thought the video was well done. Very realistic and authentic. I think this should be one of the top 10 in the contest.

I first saw this short documentary last year. I have since learned it was accepted into the National Holocaust Museum library in Washington, D.C. It is a fitting tribute to those brave, fallen citizens, including children, who suffered unbearably at the hands of Hitler and his armies in throughout Europe and Russia. Cudos to the film maker, tomyboy342000.

This is a great short documentary. It held my interest and I could feel the emotion the actors were trying to deliver. The young girl really made it come alive for me. The costumes were wonderful. History has a lot to offer, as does Sudilkov.

I really love this film. It is very well shot. I have always been into historic films.
