PlayWhen Enters Love

This is one of the 1st songs I wrote about my wife when we were first dating. It includes imagery about our 1st date @ a coffee shop in La Jolla, CA. She drank coffee, I ordered tea & we talked about traveling we had done, our love for art history, etc. At some point we realized that we shared a favorite painting, "Night Hawks" by Edward Hopper. She’d studied it in Art History class, and I grew up being struck by the painting which was part of a favorite family board-game called "Masterpiece." Derren.
