The title of the song is a play on words based on New Order's, "Blue Monday" -- while Monday may have been depressing, the Darkness doesn't really begin till Tuesday. The song depicts the chance encounters in life which invariably set our collective fates in motion. In this case, two lovers tragically can't re-unite and their love is lost forever -- an existential tragedy.
