Stood at the end of a rainbow. There was no pot of gold. Stood at the edge of a dark storm. There was no silver lining. I did my best, but I cut my losses. Dug a deep deep hold. Did not bring a long enough rope. Swam the deepest of oceans. Did not find Atlantis. I did my best, but I cut my losses. Did not my heart deny. Though I lost my mind, I did not lose myself.
