Well let's see my name is Gary and I am the product of my parents , both of whom , died tragically when I was young. I guess you could say I was always a bit different after losing my mother at age 4. It wasn't until I was 17 that I really found a positive way of dealing with these 2 heavy blows. Well let's see my name is Gary and I am the product of my parents , both of whom , died tragically when I was young. I guess you could say I was always a bit different after losing my mother at age 4. It wasn't until I was 17 that I really found a positive way of dealing with these 2 heavy blows. I messed around with my 2 turntables , attempting to mix/cut/scratch my way into a new outlet. In doing so I started writing rhymes with another school mate. I never really knew what to say so I just wrote words more or less. Then after years of tooling around and getting familiar with the beat making process, I finally found my voice. I decided that I was going to write about everything that happened to me and bothered me. This was the best decision I could have made because it divided me from everyone else. It gave my sound authenticity. I never tried to shop my music or anything like that. I simply do it for the sake of cleansing my soul of all the toxic stress that can be unhealthy. And in doing so , I am told I got pretty damn good. Not without the help of my friend who is a multi instrumentalist. He has been by my side , listening to my rants and producing for me for over a decade. I Make music for real people with real emotions. There is nothing fake or glamorous about our music. Sure it has happy moments , its not all gloom and doom at all. I call it , "making something beautiful out of something that can be so ugly at times."
