Better Dayz is a song originally written and recorded by Jazzie Lee. This track pushes encouragement to the urban youth and delivers a connection to the new generation of Hip-Hop music's listeners, very reminiscent in form to songs by Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest and the Notorious B.I.G. The chanting hook lets the listener know that she is fighting the struggle WITH them and refuses to leave any of her 'soldiers' behind.
