Long Island Sound...Asleep

Although we lived near the Long Island Sound, it wasn't very often that my father would bring me along. Can't blame him really. He was out there to drink a bunch of Ballantine and Sheaffer beers and to have a good time with his buddies. I was just a pain in the ass with tangled lines and fear of bloodworms. This song celebrates a day when just he and I went out together. Little did I realize that a day on the water for my dad meant sleeping between fish bites, hence the song title.
