Simple Things

Its hard to make a good song out of a philosophy, but I managed here, not just the simple phrase of the chorus, but the sense of a life lived that way, the beauty and depth in those simple things. It reflects the nature of my life and my dreams at the same time, memories of how I have lived mixed with the life-long dream of having someone there to share them with. In keeping with the song, I used just a simple finger-style guitar accompaniment.
