My "claim to fame" is in between 1980 and 1984 I built my first hammered dulcimer and used it to replace playing guitar, piano, or hand drums while singing modern and traditional music of many genres. I developed a new style, and adapted the dulcimer physically as well, finally building the first solid-body electric hammered dulcimers. I travel from Florida to Alaska each year, having followed a North American (been as far south as Panama, and north of the arctic circle) circuit travelling with the seasons (and the tourists and festivals) all my life.
