Lullabye

I wrote this in 1997 shortly after I'd moved away from home to attend school. Having grown up in a small, rural farming town in Illinois, I had exchanged the quiet life for the urban noise of Indianapolis; and for the first time ever, I was feeling the weight of taking care of myself, both monetarily and emotionally. This one reminds me of how good it is to be young, innocent, and above all, home.
