Haha relax man, I never said I didn't like the song. Being generic isn't a bad thing if it's attached to good songwriting talent, which in this case it is. I'm just calling it as I hear it, if you don't like my opinion that's fine but getting personal isn't necessary. Peace.

"Borderline generic"? I'd say it's totally generic, but no more than the ass that made the comment below. Have you listened to them Joe? Don't take criticism from someone who can't write a song or display ample talent for that matter.
