Hey Everyone! I want to start off by thanking you for even taking a moment to read this. You make all the difference when you become interested in independent artists. The fans are NUMBER 1.

My name is Joe Piasecki and for obvious reasons you can see why I've received the nickname, Joe P. I was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. As early as I can remember, just listening to music sparked a feeling of emotion that I could never really understand. I remember begging my parents to let me take lessons on an instrument in school. I began playing the trumpet in 4th grade and this instrument really opened my eyes to appreciate other kinds of music such as blues, jazz, ska, funk and soul. I never limited myself to learning one genre of music.

I was in high school when I realized I had feelings that I wanted to express through music, but had trouble doing with the trumpet. I began playing guitar, singing and writing lyrics. If I remember correctly, this was all sparked by a girl. (obviously)

Since high school, I have been using music to tell true personal stories and to say the things I usually can't say face to face. If you are a complete stranger and really want to know what I'm thinking, just listen to the lyrics.
