One of the first bands to have an acoustic cello upfront played by a singing, classically trained American woman, they hit the scene in Europe, playing the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Spain, after which the band went to California, playing several gigs and jamsessions. Bas, the bassplayer from Holland, had to go back to the EU when his visum was over, and now the Freewheelers are jamming on two continents, practicing different styles and continuing to grow musically. They have played with many great musicians and will continue to do so.
