Concave Perception Chamber was formed in 2006 in Bend, Oregon. Original members include Matt Lauziere(guitar, vocals), Jesse Christiansen(bass), Jim Stout(drums, samples) and Jason Hardesty(guitar). Concave Perception Chamber was formed in 2006 in Bend, Oregon. Original members include Matt Lauziere(guitar, vocals), Jesse Christiansen(bass), Jim Stout(drums, samples) and Jason Hardesty(guitar). CPC played sporadically around the local scene for the next few years. Early this year Lauziere traveled overseas to Nepal on a spiritual quest. He returned with a nourished soul, but found that the band had disolved in his absence(Hardesty left to pursue a career in pearl diving). Lauziere and Stout began work finishing a demo that the band had started in 2009. After a few months of toil and intermittant madness, they finished the EP "A Priori". Fueled by gargantuan tracks like "One Blind Step" and "The Mariner", CPC was ready to regroup with new guitarist "Lucky Greg" and mount a sonic assault on the collective unconscious of the planet earth.
