Starting music back when he was about 3 or 4, dj_doughy started taking classical piano lessons and continued them throughout childhood all the way till the end of high school. Starting music back when he was about 3 or 4, dj_doughy started taking classical piano lessons and continued them throughout childhood all the way till the end of high school. In 2001, he started doing musical production with computers. That is when he joined the music website called ACIDplanet.com; a place with artists can post their creations and partake in a community to better themselves music-wise. The idea for his first album came around fall of 2006 when he had a rather large repertoire of musical works on ACIDplanet, like remixes and original compositions, and decided to share it with the world by CD. The music on the album was all original workings either from himself, or other artists noted that he collaborated with, being either local talent or from artists abroad. A second album was in the works, but has been postponed indefinitely due to a hard drive failure. However, dj_doughy has been producing and helping artist Cade Amend with the creation of Amends album “Love Now”, set to release late 2011.
