I'm a composer/lyricist/performer/arranger/producer who lives in Nanuet, NY. Short history: born in Brooklyn, NY; piano lessons begin at 5 years old (after my parents discovered I had the gift of music composition); from ages 5 to 9 a featured solo singer on the radio station in Parkersburg, W.Va. as a member of The Sammons Merrymakers; at age 10 piano and music theory lessons (for 3 years) at Cornell University; a member of the rock band The Creation while in HS in Cortland, NY; BM degree from Ithaca College '73, and a MM degree in composition, theory and piano from Indiana U '75. Since then I have written many pop songs, classical, new age, electronica, and jazz tunes, 2 musicals for children, and the opera: "A Better Way". In Junior's Cave Online Magazine, Isaac Davis Jr. is quoted as saying: "Jordan E. Spivack is amazing when it comes to composing intelligent classical music that captures the true meaning of beautiful sounds. This composer/lyricist also happens to be an amazing piano player which becomes one of his biggest strengths with his music as the piano selections add a whole new excitement to each of his songs." Original solo instrumental CDs include "Shimmer" (unreleased), "Think Lovely Thoughts" (2007), “My Provincetown" (2006), "World Trade Center Suite", "Symmetry", "Pictures Of Me".
