“…definitely a star in the making” BBC Radio. Releasing her self-produced debut album 'Holding Up The Sky' in 2007 on her own label, on which she also performed most of the instruments, Juliana Meyer’s trademark Symphonic Acoustic Pop has been gaining popularity from loyal music fans around the world.

Well received, the success of the album led to an invitation to perform at the BBC Gala Show for BBC1’s Children In Need, alongside music legends, as well as performances at Glastonbury Festival, the Houses of Parliament, and headlining The Barn Stage at Beach Break Live Festival. She has performed in venues across the country, including a sold-out Album Launch at London’s 100 Club, and appears regularly on BBC Radio.

She recently won Best Female Artist at the EMAE Awards, and was nominated for Best Pop Song. She also won the ‘Live and Unsigned’ Exposure Award for the East of England and was nominated as Best Solo Artist and Best Original Act in the TopOfTheOx Awards. Her album 'Holding Up The Sky' was chosen by Music-News.com as one of their 'Best Albums of 2008', placed between Oasis and Take That.

Her musical journey has been diverse, from performing for The Queen on her Jubilee Tour, to singing a solo at a 20 000 strong peace rally in the ‘New South Africa’, to writing commissioned music for award-winning plays and documentaries. Beginning to attract attention from the industry, her loyal fans and our ever changing world remain the inspiration to her prolific songwriting and she is currently in preparations to record her next studio album.

"There's been a rush on at the moment to find the next woman singer songwriter.... none have come close to being as emotionally involving or genuine as multi instrumentalist Juliana Meyer. The quality of the music on this album is simply divine. Juliana is a genuine talent." Ollie Cornish, Music-News.com

"Juliana not only looks like an angel she sings like one live! She's definitely a star in the making. I've had the pleasure to interview Amy Winehouse, Katherine Jenkins and Katie Melua just before they 'broke' and I predict Juliana is heading in the same direction" Sadie Nine, BBC Radio

"The album is beautifully arranged...a dynamic and evocative collection of calm yet powerful acoustic tracks, each paying tribute to the musical talents – vocal and instrumental – of this incredible artist." Oxide Radio

"The term “singer-songwriter” doesn’t really do justice to the powerhouse known as Juliana Meyer. Meyer is clearly on the verge of joining Katie Melua and Natasha Bedingfield in the pantheon of sweet-voiced young British stars." OxfordBands.com “With a hint of Lily Allen and a touch of Kate Bush, Juliana has reached the top spot with Holding Up The Sky. Going from strength to strength, it is no doubt only a matter of time before we see this artist develop into a household name.” TopofTheOx
