The story I’ve been telling you so fare is the story of a boy and his journey to uncover a higher stat of consciousness, through his travels and accouters. This tale is one of the quests for truth but again truth is a matter of point of view.  By this point in his journey, the young Mavis has left home and roamed through the asphalt veins of our civilized world facing the wrathful reality of wind, rain, hunger and loneliness. If not for the intervention of the traveling prophet, it is likely that Richard would have despaired of ever reaching the Evergreen Plains.
