Chris Russell

I hail from the unkempt, ever degrading, urban trash receptacle known as Flint, MI. It was there, in high school, that I first began to learn the guitar. Before then I had always loved to sing, but after getting a handle on the instrument, I discovered songwriting as a passion.
Then through my under grad years in Southeast Michigan, I performed fairly regularly on the campus of Siena Heights University in Adrain. And in other places around town.
From then on I've made a habit of creating new songs to play, performing regularly, and recording and producing my music when I can.
You might say I'm something of a musician.
Now back in Flint, MI, I do what I can to make a name for myself in the local scene, but progress is hard to read. Luckily, I don't know when to quit! Or perhaps unluckily? We'll have to wait and see.
