Peter Warburton

Hello, my name is Peter Warburton, I grew up in Hamilton, MA, and currently live in Newport, RI. I am primarily a self taught, unsigned singer/songwriter, balladeer, performer. I purchased my first guitar at age 49 after a life time of wishing I could play guitar. After watching "Walk the Line" three times in one week, and being a life long Johnny Cash fan, I finally went out purchased my first guitar, a Washburn. Along with it a how to book and a Johnny Cash song book with 53 songs in it. Since then I have graduated to Martin Guitars, and I play an Epiphone Emperor Swingster Hollow Body Electric Guitar. I play out at open mic venues, record music at home in my studio, write, compose my writings in to songs. I cover artists such as J.R.Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Travis, Marty Robbins, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, Waylon Jennings.
